Yes, it’s been a long long time since I’ve posted and more on that later.

In the meantime, a quick catch up on book reviews.

Below is one for my co-author Bob Boze:

Once again, Bob Boze excels with his stellar storytelling skills.

The Beach Pool is a story about the bonds of family, friendship, the importance of trust, and being there for each other no matter what.

Zach meets Zoey at Jones Beach and soon they fall in love. Surrounding them is a family who love and support each other unconditionally.

Soon Zach, Zoey and Zach’s sister, Desi, leave their home to make their own journeys with Zoey and Desi studying, and Zach joining the airforce. Even though they agreed to separate, Zach and Zoey still hold a special place in each others’ hearts.

As they make their way in the world, life throws many challenges at them. But will Zach and Zoey find their way back to each other?

In a world that sometimes feels that it’s out of control with so much around us that is violent, bad and makes no sense, it was a delight to read a feel-good story that made me want to keep reading. I was immediately enveloped into the world of Josh, Alice, Zach, Zoey, Lisa and their friends.

With a good mixture of the serious to the humorous, Bob delicately lets his characters grow and learn with the respect they deserve.

The Beach Pool was a thoroughly enjoyable story about growing up and embracing what life throws at you with courage.
